A NATURAL-Quarried Stone; Composed of feldspar, mica and other similar minerals, resulting is a substantially hard, durable stone. Granites appearance provides a broader color scheme than marble, including various hues of blue, green, orange, pink, red, etc., and in contrasting shades of dark to medium, with blacks, grays, as well as the "Delicatus style colors; Gold, Peach, Caramel , even Black-Gray and White mixtures.
Also a NATURAL Quarried-Stone; Quartzite begins as Sandstone, that evolves as Metamorphic Rock. Then the stone evolves as a result of movement caused by the tremendous Heat and Pressure, over millions of years of formation. The result, the hardest of all the Stones, even granite and quartz. - The result: Great durability, and superior resistance to heat. Also, Quartzite is considered some of the most beautiful of all natural stone; dramatic flowing patterns, veining, and an array of colors, contrasts and combinations.
Another NATURAL-Quarried Metamorphic Stone; Originating as Limestone, becoming crystallized limestone (Marble). It's much more porous than Granite or Quartzite, so will need more maintenance and care; i.e: Bi-Annual Sealing, also keeping oils, wine, acidic juices & vegetables, to minimal contact, and ideally, cleaned up immediately after contact. Marble, like Granite and Quartzite is also quite resistant to heat, but its suggested to refrain from placing extremely hot pot & pans on the surface as much as possible. Marble has various Exotic or Premium colors, such as Statuario, Calacatta, Carrara.
MAN MADE, Engineered-Manufactured Stone,; From natural silicon dioxide, blended with a polymer-resign binder, mixed with color pigment - Then molded into Quartz Slabs, and fabricated in the same process, as any natural stone. As a result of the polymer-resign binder, Quartz provides more flexibility, and durability, and more readily resists chipping - Important to note, Quartz can be Heat Sensitive, and vulnerable to scorching or melting, from 300 degrees f.)
